12/07/2013 - Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival

Cafe Mor travels to Cardiff for the first time and we can not wait to bring the finest Pembrokeshire seafood and seaweed delights to the Welsh Capital! The foodie event of the summer returns to Cardiff Bay, with a glorious spread of farmhouse cheese, handmade chocolates, specialist liqueurs and much, much more to tempt the taste buds. With over 100 specialist food and drink producers and a beautiful waterfront venue it’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the free entertainment. Shop at the Producer Fayres or Farmer’s Market; relax on the Food Piazza or popular Champagne Bar on the water edge. With music and entertainment for all the family this is one of the capital’s favourite summer dishes.

30/06/2013 - Sunrise Seashore Forage & Breakfast at Café Mor

Join us for a unique seashore breakfast and explore the wonderful world of seashore foraging at Freshwater West. One of the historic homes of the famous Welsh delicacy; Laverbread and the new home of Café Mor's Flag Ship Beach Shack located on the cliffs overlooking the beach! We will follow the tide out and explore the shoreline and rock pools, learning about the rich variety of edible sea plants, seaweeds and shellfish that exist along the shore and the best way to cook with them, before returning for breakfast. After the morning with Café Mor, you will be confident in collecting several species of seaweeds, shell fish and seashore plants and you too can start enjoying the riches of the sea! Be prepared to get sandy, wet and full of seashore goodness. Book early to avoid disappointment, only limited spaces available. Join Cafe Môr at the very lovely National Trusts Boat House Tea Rooms, on Stackpole Quay. This pop up event will include fabulous seafood paella with a Cafe Môr twist (seashore foraged ingredients), divine Rioja and live music! Vegetarian paella will also be provided, again with a Cafe Môr twist and weather permitting dining will take place under the stars and next to the sea! Book early to avoid dissapointment! 22/06/2013 - Opening Day Pembrokeshire Fish Week - Milford Marine

Start your festival week at our opening event - A must for food lovers and the whole family. Cafe Mor will be on hand serving up there award winning seashore wraps, lobster rolls and beach food deli products! Buy the freshest catch from our Fish Market - choose from a range of locally caught fish and shellfish straight from the fishermen, supported by Cywain Fish. Make the most of your fresh purchase, watch Duncan and Sue Lucas from Passionate About Fish as they fillet, prepare and present Welsh Seafoods fish and shellfish like you've never seen before! Try a new recipe inspired by cookery demonstrations with Angela Gray, supported by Milford Haven Town Council and hands on workshops for children and adults with S4C chef Tim Maddams in the Valero marquee. Plus you can take home some excellent quality ingredients and treats to make it a really memorable food experience, from the many local produce stands around the waterside. Sample a selection of wonderful fish dishes from our show case of talented local chefs in the Blas Y Tir ‘Feast on Fish' pop up restaurant, accompanied by the famous Pembrokeshire early potatoes. For food on the go, there are plenty of seafood based street food options from lobster rolls to wraps, plus plenty for non fish lovers too. Why not relax and take in the atmosphere with performances on the live music stage throughout the day, including our headline act ‘Paper Aeroplanes'. For families, there are a host of free activities for all ages including a Sea of Creation courtesy of South Hook LNG with graffiti, art and craft drop in workshops and pavement painting. Be mesmerised by Matt the Magic Man, become sea shanty singing pirates and mistresses with Anvil Productions and dare to walk their plank. Make way for the Cornish Fishermen and their boat as they sing their way through the crowds or get into the rhythm with the Samba Galez drum and dance group.
