Street Food at Fresh Water West
The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company is proud to present its flagship beach trailer, Cafe Môr at Fresh Water West Beach this season!
Freshwater West is found on the very south west tip of Pembrokeshire and has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire. In fact, it is our favourite beach ever and the fact that we have the opportunity to provide hot food there throughout the spring and summer season is a dream come true!
The trailer will be showcasing some of our favourite street food menu items celebrating the best of Pembrokeshire seafood and local produce:
- SeaShore Wraps (our signature dish – pan fried flat breads filled with one of the following fillings):
- Pembrokeshire Bacon, cockle and laverbread mixed with egg and cream
- Pembrokeshire Crab with sweet chilli sauce, sweet corn and spring onions
- Salmon mixed with Welsh cheddar and laverbread
- Laverbread pesto with Welsh cheddar and tomatoes
- Smoked Sewin mixed with cream cheese, laverbread and lemon
- Lobster rolls with hot Welsh Sea Black butter
- Beach Burgers; Welsh Black Beef mixed with laverbread
- Pembrokeshire Bacon with laverbread butter
From the beach shack you can also buy products from our deli range of condiments to take home and create your own exciting dishes!

Opening times are approximately 10.30am to 6pm but it does vary so please check our twitter feed or phone 07919192771 to ensure that we are there! Likewise please phone ahead or email if you are a large group, we don't want to disappoint!
You will also find some of your favourite Café Môr refreshments at our beach trailer on Broad Haven Beach (South). There you can get your hands on our Sweet Seashore Delights cake range, and other drinks and refreshments.

A seashore picnic and forage with Cafe Mor
Summary
Join Cafe Môr for a truly unique seashore picnic and explore the wonderful world of seashore foraging on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. This fantastic day will take place at Freshwater West, one of the historic homes of the famous Welsh delicacy; laverbread.
We will start the day with an inspirational seashore picnic where you will be able to taste Welsh classics such as laverbread with cockles and bacon, as well as other wonderful dishes from the Cafe Môr menu with fresh local shellfish and a rich variety of edible seaweeds and sea plants such as dulse, sea lettuce, carragheen, sea beet and rock samphire.
Once we have finished the picnic we will follow the tide out and explore the shoreline and rock pools learning about the rich variety of edible sea plants, seaweeds and shellfish that exist along the shore and the best way to cook with them.
After the day with Cafe Môr, you will be confident in collecting several species of seaweeds, shell fish and seashore plants and you too can start enjoying the riches of the sea!
Costs start from: £25 per adult, £10 per child (Under 12's), Free for 5 years or under.

Please note as it is Wales there is no guarantee that the sun will be shining so please come prepared for whatever the Welsh weather delivers. Also, we will be climbing around rock pools and getting close to the sea so please wear appropriate footwear such as wellies or good walking shoes.
Be prepared to get sandy, wet, and full of seashore goodness.
